Welcome to my garden, dear friend. This is a pretty new space for me. Please have patience with the mess. I have no doubts that it will grow into something quite beautiful in the days to come.
Currently: I’m migrating old posts to this new space. I’ve been blogging for so long by now that the tech was quite different when some of the original posts were written and published. So, the formatting may be slightly askew on some of them. I’m working to fix them, though! It may just take me a little bit of time.
Your Hostess

I’m your hostess, Dawna.
You can read my “professional” bio on my About page. While we’re here, in the garden, I’m just… Well, me.
I’m a mom of 3 wonderful human beings and “Nana” to 2. I’m a (retired) military spouse and have been married to DH for over 30 years now.
I like knitting, crocheting, reading, and writing. I go out with friends and other loved ones from time to time, but I’m really something of a homebody. What I REALLY LOVE, though, is when we’re able to take our “home on wheels” (the Mystic Maunderer aka the Tweedle Dee) out into nature. In a few years, DH and I planning to RV full-time. That is, after our youngest graduates from High School and goes out into the world on her own.
By day, I’m a Technical Recruiter. By night and on the weekends, I’m a writer, Spiritual Life Coach, and energy healer. Though, I prefer “anam cara”, which roughly translates to “soul friend” because that’s what I am and that’s what I seek to “do” in the world. Be a soul friend to others, to you!
I’m also something of a “gadget girl”. At least, that’s what DH likes to call me. I like tech! It comes easily to me. Though, you won’t find me on as many platforms these days as I’ve frequented in the past. Admittedly, I was a “kid in a candy store”! These days, I’m pretty much sticking to Instagram, the garden here, and Substack. I am on Facebook but pretty much only crosspost things to my page there.
Here, I shared some of my favorite things…
If you feel resonance with me, I would love to connect with you!
Until next time our paths cross, take care!
